Exterior Painting & Staining

Surface preparation is the most important step for a beautiful and long lasting exterior project. Proper preparation starts with the scraping and sanding of all pealing areas. All loose paint/stain and defective caulking must be removed. All surfaces must be washed free from mildew and dirt in order to achieve maximum adhesion of coating material. Gaps between adjoining wood, or wood and masonry should be sealed with elastomeric sealant and rusty surfaces must be properly prepared prior to the application of primers, paints and stains.

Kevin Davis emphasizes on being neat and achieving long lasting results. Throughout the process of surface preparation and paint application , we pay special attention in uncovering and informing you of problematic wood areas that would jeopardize your investment and the durability of the project.

Interior Painting

Interior painting is an inexpensive way of increasing the value of your home. In addition, color changes can enhance interior lighting, mood, and perceived spacing. Similar to exterior projects, planning and surface preparation are the most important steps of achieving a beautifying and durable interior project. All areas or objects not to be painted must be covered, taped or relocated. Glossy surfaces should be lightly sanded, separations should be siliconized or caulked and wall imperfection should be properly spackled and sanded to a smooth finish.

Kevin Davis takes pride in implementing and delivering a neat and clean interior project. From surface preparation to paint application our only traces are beatifying projects. We use latex paints exclusively for interior projects. This allows for less odor and faster drying. Latex paints maintain color well and do not yellow as do oil based paints (primarily white and off-white colors). Latex paints are more elastic than oil-based and therefore are more durable and less opt to crack from everyday wear and tear.
